OLYMPIA - Sona Polillo, 77, passed away from cancer June 15, 2004.

She married Paul Polillo in 1948. She and her husband moved to Naselle shortly after the end of World War II and made their home there for 54 years before recently moving to Olympia to be closer to their family.

Mrs. Polillo is survived by husband Paul; sister Nada of Walla Walla; her daughter Paula Braniff and son-in-law Bruce of Olympia; as well as granddaughters, Leandra Braniff and Trista Nesbit and a great-grandson Gage Nesbit, all of Olympia. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Polillo in 1974.

There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
