OLYMPIA - The Washington State Natural Heritage Advisory Council will meet Thursday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Long Beach. The meeting location is the Chautauqua Lodge, 304 North 14th Street. On Friday, June 9, council members will travel around the area to look at ongoing efforts to control spartina, an invasive, non-native aquatic noxious weed.

Regular council business generally includes consideration of proposals for new natural areas, additions to existing natural areas, and management activities within existing natural areas.
