PACIFIC and WAHKIAKUM counties - The Timberland Regional Support Network, which manages the state's public mental health system in Pacific and Wahkiakum counties, has been informed that for the remainder of the state fiscal year, February through June, there will be reductions in funds for public mental health services from the state of Washington.

The severity of these reductions will mean that the availability of public mental health services in these counties, for individuals who are not enrolled in the state's Medicaid program, will be primarily limited to mental health crisis services only.

It is anticipated that reductions of about the same level will continue through state fiscal years 2010 and 2011.

For more information, please contact the Timberlands Regional Support Network at 800-392-6298 or 360-795-3118. For specific information about reductions in services in the county where you live you may call one of the following mental health providers - Willapa Behavioral Health at 642-3738 or 800-884-2298 or Wahkiakum County Mental Health Services at 795-8630 or 800-635-5989.
