The crab soup recipe I sent in for the Dec.29 was not his. Here is the real one: It's super good.
2 tablespoons butter
1 small bunch of celery, minced
1 large onion, minced
1/8 teaspoon mace ( or nutmeg )
1/4 cup sherry wine
1 pint 1/2 and 1/2 cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 pound dungeness crab
In heavy pan, saute celery and onions, till soft. Add all other ingredients, except crab. simmer for 5 minutes.
Add crab just before serving. Heat.
