OCEAN?PARK - Wet weather failed to dampen the spirits of hundreds of local children who turned out for two of the community Easter egg hunts last weekend.

More than 100 children took to the Beach Barons field Saturday afternoon (TOP) to hunt for prize-filled eggs. Rain and hail left some running back to their cars, while others used improvisation to try and stay dry (ABOVE).

Another 100 people braved the chilly wind to hunt for eggs at the Peninsula Moose Lodge #2362's annual hunt Sunday. Another 100 waited inside the warmth of the lodge for refreshments and prizes.
