CENTRALIA - Theodore J. Wisch, 65, passed away Feb. 19, 2003 at Centralia Providence Hospital after a year-long battle with cancer.

Mr. Wisch was born at Harlem, Mont., to Norma and Walter Wisch. He was raised in Chinook, Mont., and spent a short time in the Air Force. He married Ester Dean, his soulmate and life-long love in 1961.

Mr. Wisch moved to Randle in 1975 and began working for Cowlitz Stud Company where he drove a truck for 25 years. Walsh Brothers Trucking eventually purchased Cowlitz Stud Company and he continued as a driver for them until he retired.

He and his wife moved to Ocean Park about five years ago where they lived until just recently. Mr. Wisch enjoyed life and will be remembered as a kind, compassionate man who was always willing to help a friend.

Mr. Wisch is survived by his wife Ester, who shared his journey for 41 years; mother Norma Wisch of Havre, Mont.; sisters-in-law Peggy Dean and Bonnie Dean of Missoula, Mont.; brothers and sisters-in-law Bonnie and Pat Tantlinger of Philipsburg, Mont., Royal and Paulette Wisch of Denver, Colo., Dennis and Carrie Wisch of Chinook, Mont.; sister and brother-in-law Fontella and Ethan Edwards of Havre, Mont.; niece Marcella Kohlman; nephew Andrew Edwards and various cousins in Montana. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Wisch in 2002.
