The Ilwaco High School jazz band performed a concert for a packed house at the Artisan in downtown Ilwaco Saturday night, featuring swinging tunes from a variety of eras. Several students played solos throughout the set list, including Anna Gerke (LEFT), who soloed on "I'm Beginning To See the Light." During intermission, some of the students jammed on '50s rock n' roll tunes. Felipe Murillo-Perez (ABOVE?RIGHT) had to work to keep up on the bass as Karl Oman and Paul de Montaudouin played electric guitar.
