SEAVIEW - Two Pacific County Sheriff's deputies, two Long Beach Police Department officers and a Washington State Patrol trooper arrested three suspects in a vehicle prowl on the Seaview beach approach Saturday at 2 a.m. in Seaview.

Several credit cards and checks were taken earlier from a vehicle parked on the approach and the three attempted to use them at businesses in Long Beach, Ilwaco, Seaview and Warrenton.

PCSO Deputies Rick Byrd and Ralph Ruder, LBPD Officers Paul Jacobson and Jeff Cutting and WSP Trooper Jim Long assisted in the arrest of James M. Stromeberg, 42, of Chinook, Christie Davis, 30, of Longview, and a Pacific County juvenile. The three were transported to Pacific County Jail on suspicision of multiple felony theft charges. Stromeberg also was arrested for an outstanding felony governor's warrant from Florida.

Long Beach Police Chief David Sexton said the victims were impressed and thankful for the swift apprehension of the suspects. "This is another excellent example of cooperation among local law enforcement agencies," Pacific County Sheriff John Didion said.
