National Weather Service has warned North Coast and Long Beach

Peninsula residents of more snow on the way after Wednesday

afternoonÂ’s flurries in Astoria and elsewhere.

alert covers the North Oregon Coast and Southwest Washington,

extending north to Raymond, Wash., inland to Cathlamet, Wash., and

Clatskanie, and south to Newport.

showers are expected on and off Wednesday night and Thursday with a

couple of inches possible at elevations for 500 feet or more, with

weather improving slightly Friday.
