SEAVIEW — Judith “Judy” I. Davis, 63, died at her Seaview residence on May 28, 2011.  Born in Portland, on April 9, 1948, she was the daughter of Bill and Ruth (Levengood) Blackwell. She grew up in Portland where she received her education.

On June 17, 1981, she married Gary Davis in Vancouver, where the couple made their home. A wife, mother and homemaker, she was also employed as a caregiver for the mentally challenged. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and family events. A year and a half ago she realized her dream of living at the coast. Here she enjoyed walking on the beach with her beloved canine companion, Oscar. She was a member of the Catholic faith.

Besides her husband, survivors include her daughter, Kim Makarowsky and Cush Wakeman, both of Ocean Park; her mother, Ruth Blackwell of Battleground; brother, Ed Blackwell also of Battleground; a sister, Jill Dohman of Brush Prairie; one granddaughter, Megan Makarowsky; and several nieces and nephews.
