ILWACO Kristopher Scott Trujillo, age 29, died on or about Feb. 14, 2011, in Ilwaco. Affectionately known by his friends as Milk because of his pale complexion, he was the son of Jerry and Denise Trujillo. He was born July 3, 1982, in LaPorte, Ind., where he was raised and graduated from LaPorte High School.
He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and earned the rank of Eagle scout, and he was on the LaSalle Council in South Bend, Ind. He joined the navy and was on a nuclear submarine for some time. His family described him as a Christian man, who was a loving father and devoted friend.
He was employed by Harbor Lights Restaurant and Motel in Ilwaco as a bartender, cook and maintenance worker. He was an all around Jack of all trades who loved to fix things.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two children, Kristoffer, age 8, and Brookynn, age 6; a sister, Lisa Marie; a brother, Matthew Steven; and his former wife, Felesha Trujillo. A brother, David Ryan; aunt, Connie Trujillo; and his grandmother, Betty Trujillo, preceded him in death.
