Lila Kimbrough

VANCOUVER — Lila M. Kimbrough, 83, of Vancouver, passed away Nov. 21, 2014, at her home.

She was born Dec. 13, 1930, in Baker, Mont. Lila grew up in Montana and lived in California, Oregon and Washington. Lila loved animals and spent her most recent years carrying for her beloved dogs, Coco and Angel. She enjoyed playing on her computer and could be found keeping up with her grandchildren on Facebook. In her earlier life she enjoyed playing Pinnacle and square-dancing. Lila was a generous person supporting many charities. Lila owned many businesses including, Tidewind’s Restaurant and Charter, a pizza parlor, mini storage and a coin and jewelry shop.

Survivors include her sister, Rose Conto; daughter, Diane Hartley; grandchildren, Michelle Rivera, Sonja Holmes, Nikki Jonason, Hope Cantwell and Steven Cantwell; and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Kimbrough; son, Steven Larry Cantwell and granddaughter, Shelly Hartley.

A funeral service took place on Dec. 2 at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland. Please share memories at www.VancouverFuneralChapel.net
