OLYMPIA Wilbur D. King, formerly of Nahcotta, passed away Sept. 30, 2013, at St. Peters Hospital in Olympia.
Willie so enjoyed working in his shop and yard. He was a cabinetmaker by trade and retired from McNeil Island Penitentiary. Willie belonged to the Peninsula Senior Activity Center, the Eagles and the Moose lodges. He loved his trips with Milo and friends on Milos bus. He was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris; his brother, Jim; sisters, Rose and Sharon; his two children, Cheryl (Duane) Olsen of Lacey and Dennis (Robbin) King of Long Beach; son-in-law Phillip Beachy of Auburn; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His daughter, Janet, formerly of Auburn preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Tacoma at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.
