My husband and I have lived here now for about five years. In that time, we've met some of the nicest people ever. My husband, Derek, had a recent fall because his stepladder tipped in soft soil. Derek hit his head on a paving square and has skull fractures and a bruised spinal cord. We still don't know how much he will recover.

But we have had an outpouring of friends, acquaintances, customers at my shops and people we had never met before come with profusion of help and support. We just can't thank the folks here enough. It is a blessing we moved here, we just love it. Thank you ever so much - I don't know what I would have done without you. Derek is still in the hospital, so all this help has kept me together.
