Letter: Dime travels to Camas taped to letter

Letter: Dime travels to Camas taped to letter

We thought this might be an interesting story: Last fall I was sending a card to my mother in Camas from here in Ocean Park. I was unsure of the postage because of the larger envelope, so I taped a dime next to the stamp. The card went through the Ocean Park post office, then through the Portland regional post office where it was franked and then through the Camas post office before getting to my mom. It arrived with the dime still taped with the cancel stamp right over it! My mother recently returned it to me.
