Regarding editorial: "Beware Texans bearing gifts" -

In response to the editorial on Aug. 29, I am so glad someone else noticed the underhanded way the LNG monsters are ensuring their way onto our beautiful Northwest habitat. I have family in Coos Bay and was awfully glad my husband and I had moved here already when I heard about how the towns there were so happy to let the LNG in to their port. They were taken in with the promise of "hundreds of new jobs, cleaner water, and better habitat." Yeah, right!
