Letter: More than 500 volunteers sweep our beautiful beach

A very heartfelt thank you to the 500-plus volunteers who took the time to come and help clean up the day after the celebration. Yes, 500 fearless, caring souls - in the wind - wow! You are glorious! You give us all great reason to celebrate!

Thanks to those who always participate - you give these regular cleanups wings! And many thanks to our first-timers! We hope you enjoyed the immense pleasure that comes with working with other like-minded people and with seeing what a tremendous difference you made in how our area looks and even how it "feels."
