I love horses. It’s a fact of my life I will never be able to outrun. So I have given in and once again I ride. I am starting to meet all kinds of people who also ride, plus some who have horses and don’t ride — for whatever reason we have them.

But as I drive by a place on Sandridge Road it is a constant reminder that some people should just not own horses. I think a lot of people would agree, as I have had many conversations with others about the mess I pass daily on Sandridge Road. I try not to look, but it gets the best of me. Trust me, I know limited horse budgets. I am on one, but I know my limitations.

Maybe this letter will generate the knowledge of limitations that should be made for some horse owners on the Peninsula.
