I'm writing this letter in support of two institutions that are important to the Long Beach Peninsula, the funbeach.com Web site and the Visitor Information Bureau.

I have surfed more than 20 information and Chamber of Commerce Web sites in different localities around the U.S. and have seen none that even come close to comparing to the funbeach.com Web site here on the Peninsula. The owners of beachdog.com, Keleigh and Keith Schwartz and their employees are to be complimented for the exceptional product(s) that they produce.

In a similar way, the employees at The Long Beach Peninsula Visitors Bureau - Una, Joanne and Jill as well as the volunteers there - need to be complimented for their excellent work. The bureau is clean and neat and professionally run and puts a great face on the Peninsula.

Both of the above work hand-in-hand to promote this area.

An additional note to the businesses of the area, if you do not currently belong to the Visitors Bureau, it would be to your advantage to join and, if you are a member but do not use all the services available, please do as it also would be to your advantage.
