Yes, there are good Samaritans on the Peninsula. Last week I sent a letter to the editor explaining that in the process of helping someone a friend's tools had slipped from his truck.

The tools were found by a gentleman (in every sense of the word), who mentioned when he stopped by Oman and Son that day that he had found them. Several days later an employee at Oman and Son put that information together with the "lost" flyers that had been posted in the store, which gave my phone number. When I received the call from Randy Dennett this Wednesday that he had the tools, I was overjoyed and immediately contacted Mychael to tell him the wonderful news.

The next day I received a call from another gentleman, Dave Stephenson, who had seen my letter in the Observer, and offered to share his tools with Mychael. I am sure that all who read this will join me in "Hats off to two fine men!"
