It's wonderful that the Chinook Observer has been telling the stories of students at the Coast Guard motor lifeboat school lately! It is impressive that these men and women were chosen to come to this prestigous school and learn how to drive the boats in such harsh conditions.

How about doing a story on some of the coxswains who do that job every day?! I am a proud wife of a Cape D stationed coxswain and know the incredible tasks they perform on a daily basis. It's something that most people would never consider, putting their lives and their families lives on the line on a daily basis.

How about showing them how much they are appreciated? I'm sure anyone who has ever been rescued by them would agree.
