Letter: Time to says 'enough is enough' to ignorant negativity

I am fed up. What is happening to our country? David Letterman's disgusting and ignorant "joke" regarding Sarah Palin's 14-year-old daughter should have brought an outcry of "Enough" from the public. And, I don't, not for a minute, believe he meant Gov. Palin's 18-year-old daughter ... even after his insincere and sarcastic apology. How would that have been any better or excusable anyway? There was no humor in his joke, only hate. Hearing the imbeciles in his audience laugh over such a lousy attempt begs the question, is there something else afoot here? Why, if not for politically charged reasons, did he feel it necessary to attack those women?

News flash Letterman, your guy won! He is our president now, the election is over. And by the way, it was President Obama who stated that children were off limits. His children were left alone, but the opposition's were not and are not given that consideration.
