I live very far from Seaview, New York State to be exact. I have come to Seaview a number of times and have fallen in love with its beauty.

It is unfathomable to me that you would entertain building on the dunes. I often tell people how truly wonderful Seaview is. In this time of cavalier treatment of our environment it is depressing indeed to see even more disregard for the environment. It seems as if it is all about money, and a short-term view of returns at that. I can't but imagine that once the few people involved make their money that the long-term monetary effects will turn out to be negative. The beauty of your seashore is why someone like me is willing to travel across the country to vacation in Seaview. Once Seaview loses that beauty and serenity, it will be gone forever.

It is also hard to imagine the thinking behind such an endeavor on the cusp of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

The wanton disregard of the dangers of building ever closer to the water and in the process taking away a protective barrier is breathtaking.
