Surfside would like to thank everyone who attended our wreath and succulents planting on April 27. The perfect weather and friendly atmosphere certainly made for a successful afternoon! We're always happy to make friends from elsewhere on the Peninsula. No one left empty-handed, and the raffle proceeds made a nice donation to the Ocean Park Food Bank. We especially want to thank Kerry Amundson for the wreath frames and the effort she and Ann Thoreson put into planning and preparing everything. We are always grateful to our Surfside crew and Laura Frazier in the SHOA office for setting up the tents, tables, etc., so we can have fun playing in the dirt. Thanks again, everyone — good job!

I would like to thank the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum for their generous donation of gallery space and their time involved in our Annual Spring Art Show. This year, the museum director Betsy Millard and her volunteers not only hosted the show, they also took care of the setup and take-down of the entire show. We are so fortunate to have such avid supporters of our school in our community, especially at such a great resource as our local museum. Thank you to everyone who helped, especially Betsy Millard and Dian Schroeder, for all of their hard work!
