The South Pacific County Humane Society (SPCHS) thanks everyone who attended our “Beach Pets Bash!” dinner and silent auction fundraising event for the cats and dogs at our shelter. Many thanks to the 55 businesses and individuals who contributed silent auction items.

Thank you to Jack’s Country Store and Okie’s Thriftway Market for their contributions of food items for the lasagna dinner and to The Depot Restaurant for those scrumptious brownies. Thank you to Matt Barnes for not only the great music but also for being the MC for our event. Thank you to the Peninsula Senior Activity Center for the great venue.

A big thank you to the 35 volunteers that made our event possible. A special thank you to Patti Lee for leading the meal prep for the lasagna dinner; Kathy Condron for decorations and managing the Chance Raffle; Jim Sherman for managing the beverages; Bev Arnoldy for managing the check-in/out process; Joyce Lang for set-up of the auction system, auction packaging, managing check-in/out and the financials; Diane Andrews, our cat mascot and Kosanne Kohli, our dog mascot; Ruth and Jack Kristensen for the great slide show; and Ruth Kristensen for capturing the event with photos.

All of us at the South Pacific County Humane Society are grateful for the community support of our cats and dogs at our shelter.
