Over the last two years, our property tax in Ocean Park has increased by 38 percent.

We have a meeting with the Board of Equalization coming up soon, but we were there last year and the deck is stacked against the property owner. The same thing is true with the meeting with the State Board of Tax Appeals.

It’s time we got a new Pacific County assessor before we’re all priced out of our homes.
