NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ilwaco will be APPLYING AQUATIC PLANT AND ALGAE MANAGEMENT CHEMICALS TO BLACK LAKE the week of December 3rd, 2018 and continuing until completed around December 7th, 2018. The application of the chemical Diaquat Dibromide has the following restrictions: Ecology recommends no swimming in the sign-posted area for 24 hours following treatment due to possible eye irritation; Drinking water after 3 days; irrigation after 5 days; Domestic animal watering after 1 day.

Persons with legal water rights should contact Ilwaco City Hall at 360-642-3145 if this coverage will result in a restriction of these rights and alternative water supply will be needed during treatment.
