Kathy Price, Glenn Trustee place at Lincoln City billiards tourneyLINCOLN CITY - Kathy Price and her Driving 101 team from Vancouver placed second in the women's open division at the Oregon Billiards Congress of America pool tournament last weekend in Lincoln City, Ore. Glenn Trustee and the Cadillac Island Casino team from Longview tied for 17th in the men's open division. There were 40 teams in the women's and 132 in the men's open division.

Price and Trustee combined to also tie for 17th spot in the Double Scotch Division in the tournament. Price joined Nikki Bisconer, Shirley Morgan, Stacy Eilts, Dolly Martell and April Verlind on Driving 101. Trustee was a teammate of Tim Haines, Jeff Coats, Bernard Borran and Big Al on Cadillac Island's squad.

Price won the Novice Division in 2001 at Lincoln City. She plays in a league at the Sea Hag Tavern in Ilwaco on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m., and Trustee competes in another league at the Sea Hag Tuesdays. Price had a special thanks to Cindy Dotie for helping sponsor her entry into the Lincoln City tournament.

SUNDAY NIGHT PENINSULA POOL LEAGUEThe end of the year party will be held April 12 at the American Legion Hall in Ilwaco. Hors d'oeuvres served at 5:30 p.m. Food to be catered by Chen's Restaurant. Each team should bring three door prizes. Awards will be presented. Music by 20/20 Hindsight.
