Comets fall behind Hyaks in 1st half, can't make it up

OYEHUT - The Naselle Comets gave up too many points in the first half to stay within shouting distance of the North Beach Hyaks in a Pacific League girls' basketball game played in the Hyaks gym Saturday, Jan. 13.

The Hyaks used a 52-point first half to key their 74-50 win. Due to the freezing road conditions, the game was played in the afternoon in order to allow Naselle to return home earlier in the day. The Comets' record fell to 3-2 in league and 6-5 overall. The Hyaks' record climbed to
