TILLAMOOK - The middle school wrestlers finished their season with a tournament in Tillamook.

R.J. Jamieson, wrestling in the 185 pound classification, finished a lofty fourth place. Goeff Hylton, at 155, placed sixth and may have gone to even greater heights had an injury not forced him to stop competing.

Both Carl Jackson, at 112, and Mike Crislip, at 145, wrestled well, according to varsity coach Tom Hornbuckle, but ran into some extremely strong competition.

Other wrestlers in the middle school included C.J. Hawkinson, Lenny McGrath, David Casper, and Brendun Vitkoczy.

The young grapplers were coached by Steven Ahlerds and assisted by Willie Marsh.
