Both had personal bests in the 400 and ran very close to their best times in the 800. Stephen Berglund also ran a difficult combination of the 1,600, 800, 3,200 and 4x400. He ran very strong. The girls' 4x400 was an exciting conclusion to the meet. Anna Gerke continues to improve and threw a personal record in the discus. Matt Kaino won both the 400 and 200 after not racing for two weeks."

Coach Ned Bittner added, "Matt ran away from the field in the 400 and beat a tough challenger. Evin looked good in his events and is really coming along and Stephen ran well. Andy Schott is doing well in the hurdles. Annika Wolters ran a personal best in the 400 and Mitchell Mortenson ran well in the 3,200. Kelly Freese is running consistently and always gives a good effort in practice."

Elias Blume, Brendan O'Brien, Beau Morrow and Carson Fox also competed in the throwing events.
