CHEHALIS – The Ilwaco boys’ basketball game Wednesday, Feb. 16 has been moved to Chehalis and W.F. West High School at 6:30 p.m. The Fishermen will play Ridgefield with the winner going to state regionals and losing team ending its season.

The Lady Fishermen will play Rainier at Kelso at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 with the winner going to state regionals and qualifying for the District IV championship game. The loser will play the winner of Castle Rock and LaCenter for a trip to state on the line, as well as the loser being out.

For both of the boys’ and girls’ tournaments there will be no game to determine third and fourth place. The district’s athletic directors decided to have a coin flip to determine which team plays in the state regionals at Glacier Peak in Snohomish and with boys’ team plays in Chehalis and which girls’ team plays at Centralia.
