SEASIDE — In the Ilwaco Middle School’s final regular season track meet Evan Sutherland in the 1,500 (5:24.9), Zach Ahlin in the 200 hurdles (28.27), and Gabe Cook in the 100 hurdles (17.07) were all winners in the running events and Ahlin in the long jump (17-feet-4), Kenny Price in the high jump (5-feet), and Tyler Milligan in the javelin (145-feet-7) were tops for the Fishermen in field events at Seaside Monday, May 9.

Finishing second for Ilwaco was Taylor Schisler in the 100 meters race and Milligan was second in the 1,500. Joshawah Eagle-Bear claimed second in the 200 hurdles and Price, Ahlin, Sutherland, and Schisler teamed up to place second in the 4x100 relay. Finishing fourth in the same race were Jack Kaino, Eagle-Bear, Riki Thompson and James Schenk.

Schisler was sixth in the shot put, Thompson second in the javelin and Schenk sixth, and Ahlin was second, Milligan third, and Eagle-Bear fourth in the high jump, while Schenk was fifth in the long jump at Seaside.

For the girls Valorie Lindstrom was second in the 200 and Mallory Bradshaw fifth in the 200. Grace Bruncke came in second in the 1,500, Brittinee Olson tied Bailey Gray for second in the high jump, and Lindstrom was second in the long jump.

Lacie Cutting, Olson, Lindstrom, and Bradshaw finished sixth in the 4x100 relay. Olson was also fifth in the shot put. Lorna Cummins placed fifth in the long jump and Katelynn Jacobson was sixth in the 200. Jennifer Navarre, Ally Rose, Eli DeSimone, Cody Jahraus, Otto Kemmer, and Jacob Malmstadt also competed for Ilwaco.
