Comets girls beat NW ChristianLACEY - With the Herrold sisters - senior Annie and freshman Sylvia - posting double-doubles, with Kelli Revis scoring in double figures, with freshman Ashley Ahlstrom grabbing double-digit rebounds, and with Erin Saari making 14 steals - the Naselle Comets girls basketball team chalked up an easy win last Friday, Jan. 14.
Their Pacific League game against the Northwest Christian Navigators, played in Lacey, saw NHS win 57-33. The win improved the Comets league record to 2-2 and 4-9 overall.
