ABERDEEN - One member of the Naselle Comets boys baseball team, Cody Davis, and three members of the Naselle Comettes girls softball team, Jordan Varila, Lucy Rubio, and Amanda Badger were selected for their respective all Pacific League teams selected by a vote of the league's coaches.
Davis, a senior center fielder and pitcher, who led the Comets hitters with a .390 batting average with 16 RBIs, 13 runs scored and a perfect 31 for 31 in stolen bases, was one of ten members named to the league's first team.
The Pacific league's baseball first team included the league's MVP Chris Bromley, Wishkah; and Justin Blake, Quinault; Daniel Steele, Northwest Christian; Curtis Richards, Quinault; Mackenzie Mayr, Wishkah; Joe Grant, Northwest Christian; Joe James, Taholah; Ricky Grant, Northwest Christian; Cody Davis, Naselle; and Chet Tweed, Quinault.
Three members of the Naselle Comettes, the Pacific League's softball co-champion along with Wishkah Valley, each with 7-1 records, made the all league first team. They included senior pitcher Varila who compiled a 12-4 pitching record and was the runner-up for the league's MVP honor, the Comettes top hitter senior catcher Rubio, and Naselle's second leading hitter sophomore Badger, on the ten member first team.
The Pacific League softball first team included the league's MVP Lesley Addison, Wishkah; and Jordan Varila, Naselle; Teresa Pope, Taholah; Lucy Rubio, Naselle; Heidi Hull, Wishkah; Dora Brings Yellow, Taholah; Shawna Pope, Taholah; Patty Blackburn, Quinault; Gina Cruz, Oakville; Amanda Badger, Naselle.
