OCOSTA - Naselle tied a record that can never be broken-fewest points allowed in a quarter, as the Comets exploded to a 23-0 first-period lead in annihilating Ocosta 60-14 there in a Pacific 2B League contest Tuesday. Coach Brian Macy said, "We sat our starters out the second half and everyone got a chance to get some varsity experience and contribute."

Manny Lopez with 12 and Marcos Herrera with 10 points dominated the game in the paint for Naselle as nine Comets found the scoring column. Naselle improves to 11-4 overall and are now 5-2 in the league, while Ocosta is winless in the Pacific at 0-7.
