MENLO — Naselle outscored Winlock 17-7 in the fourth quarter to clinch a 61-48 win Saturday, Dec. 28. The Comets improved to 4-2 when playing up against 2B Central League teams and 5-2 overall. Winlock dropped to 6-3. Their only previous losses had come against 2A Black Hills and an Australian school called Tenison Woods.

Kolby Glenn led the Comets with 20 points, and Ethan Lindstrom added 15. Bryce Cline was the only Cardinal in double-figures, with 20 points. But Corey Gregory held him to two points in the fourth quarter while scoring all seven of his own points in that period.
