NASELLE — Peyton Dalton went 3 for 5 in Naselle’s 15-5 six-inning victory over South Bend Monday, May 5.

Lily Harman doubled in Dalton in the Comets’ two-run first inning, and Kylee Tarabochia had an RBI double and scored in a three-run second. The Comets’ lead was 9-4 after Brynn Tarabochia’s two-out, two-run double, which extended what became a seven-run third inning. Dalton, the number two hitter in the lineup, had singles in each of the first three innings to spark the offense.

Brynn Tarabochia struck out five and allowed four runs in three innings. Courtney Paul allowed a run in three innings in relief.

For South Bend, Blakeli Serles was 3 for 3 with a double, and Kerma Boothe went 2 for 3 with a triple.
