Comets in Final Four

Naselle quarterback Cole Dorman checked for an open receiver early in the first half of Saturday's playoff win over Lyle-Wishram.

NASELLE — Naselle’s Cole Dorman was named first team all-Northwest League quarterback and was joined by three of his receivers. On defense, Vince Fauver was a first team defensive lineman and Jimmy Strange was a first team linebacker for the league champion Comets.

Ethan Lindstrom, Jacob Eaton and Josh Townsen were all first team receivers after a year when the Comets rode a dominant passing attack to the state semifinals.

Lindstrom was also special teams player of the year for his kickoffs, as he excelled on onside kicks and at pinning opponents deep.

Fa’aoso Tutu’u was a second team running back, and Antonio Nolan made second team as a defensive back.
