Ilwaco’s other three varsity girls are going for the first time. Nisa Mendoza took 47th Saturday with a personal-record 23:26.2. She and freshman Emma Brundage (23:52.56, 54th) helped keep Ilwaco (118 points) well in front of Adna (159) for fifth place. Freshman Daniela Mendez finished in 26:28.32.
