Cross Country Mom is back at it again. Even moms get sick. While I missed two meets due to ailments, my team never let me down. Not only have they scored well, they've continued to gain momentum in their positive attitude toward their sport and in their personal growth.

This last week I was back in the saddle, or more accurately, the seat of the car, for the two-hour trek to Kalama. Next week I'll introduce you to some of the other Cross Country moms (and dads) who put a lot of miles on their cars between September and November. Some of these folks have been willing to share rides and conversation with me this year. I call it "X/C therapy".
