CASTLE ROCK - Breanna Moody scored 34 points Friday night to lead her White Pass team past the Naselle girls in blow-out fashion, 64-40. The Panthers gave the Comets a taste of their own medicine, using stifling defense to shut down the Naselle attack.

"You don't want to a team to play with you and let them gain confidence," White Pass coach Tom Kelly told the Centralia Chronicle. "We got off to a real good start." The Panthers, who lead 16-4 at the end of the first quarter, improved to 17-3 and now play in semifinal game with Raymond on Wednesday.

The Naselle girls will resume play on Monday in one of four loser-out games in Rochester. The Comets will face Pe Ell at 5:30 p.m. A loss ends their season, a win and they will play Wednesday Feb. 20, at 8 p.m. in Rochester.
