EUGENE — The TrackTown youth league championship was held on Saturday, June 29 at Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore. Athletes from all over the Pacific Northwest joined for an afternoon of competition.

Elsa Linquist, 8, returned for the TrackTown Championship in the 1,500 meter race with her eye on the podium. She earned third place, shy of first by 2/100ths of a second. Linquist finished in 6:14.39, earning a personal best by more than 14 seconds.

Ayden Woodby (14) competed in the 100 and 400 meter races. He finished fourth and seventh respectively with times of 13.08 and 1:02.40.
