RIDGEFIELD — “The day started out rough, and then got worse,” coach Kevin McNulty said as his team ventured to Ridgefield for a double-dual wrestling match against the Spudders and Stevenson. “Our bus broke down in Chinook and we got there 25 minutes late for weigh-ins and then we had three kids not make weight. We bumped our lineup around and it backfired, especially against Ridgefield.”

The Fishermen wrestling team lost to the Spudders 63-18 in a dual meet there Tuesday, Jan. 18. Ilwaco won by forfeit at 119, 125 and 285 pounds. Owen Sutherland at 152 lost a decision 8-5 to Miller Steinbrenner of the Spudders.
