Girls basketball:

Kalama 50, Ilwaco 38

Kaelyn Shipley scored 21 points and Parker Esary had 18 to lead Kalama, which is currently in second in place in the Central League. Makenzie Kaech led Ilwaco with 20.

Monday:

Boys

Naselle 80, Oakville 32

The Comets forced a flurry of early turnovers, and the Acorns never really recovered. Antonio Nolan scored 16 points, Jacob Eaton added 16, and Corey Gregory and Donny Edwards scored 12 apiece.

Girls

Naselle 63, Oakville 10

Hailey Weston, Tayler Ford and Ellie Chapman each scored 11 points to lead the Comets. Chapman had six first quarter steals and finished the game with eight steals and eight assists.

Tuesday:

Boys:

Naselle 75, Mary M Knight 37

Jacob Eaton had a career-high 21 points and 11 rebounds, helping the Comets outrebound the Owls 52-23.

Life Christian 66, Ilwaco 35

Girls:

Naselle 49, Mary M Knight 33

Tayler Ford scored 16 points, and Ellie Chapman had 12 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and eight steals in the Comets’ win.

Ilwaco 59, Life Christian 31
