Hudkins, Kaino, Cadwell on 2003 list

ILWACO - Senior Andy Hudkins was voted to the Trico League all-star first team. The center for Ilwaco High School is the second leading scorer, assist man and leading rebounder for the Fishermen who finished in third place.

Kyle Kaino was the leading vote getter for the second team. The senior guard led the Fishermen in scoring and assists and was third in rebounding. Receiving honorable mention for the Trico League all star team was junior forward, Ryan Cadwell who was second on the team in rebounds and third in scoring and assists.

LaCenter's Nate Alanko was the Trico's MVP and was joined by teammate Josh Williamson on the all-league team. Ridgefield placed Jonny Peru, Chris Rauch, and Drew Bleth on the all-star squad and Castle Rock's Scott Selby also joins Hudkins on the first team.

Hocking and Kitzman make all-star teams

ILWACO - Ilwaco guard Heather Hocking was voted to the first team in the Trico League for the 2002-03 girls basketball season. Castle Rock point guard, Brooke Fernandez was voted League most valuable player.

Hocking, who led the Lady Fishermen in scoring this season, is joined on the first team by Woodland's Brittany Driver and Ashley Rodman and LaCenter's Jennifer Stanfill and Tanya Baker.

Ashley Kitzman, Ilwaco's standout sophomore post player and second leading Lady Fishermen scorer, was voted to the second team for the 2A Trico-League. Woodland's Glen Flanagan was tabbed as coach of the year.
